This MRI compatible pediatric cart is specifically designed for treating pediatric emergencies by using a multi-colored drawer labeling system comparable to the Broselow color coding method. Unlike traditional crash carts, each colored drawer of this cart has it’s own breakaway locking bar and plastic seal for easier restocking after use. This non-magnetic MRI pediatric cart uses only “weakly magnetic” or non-magnetic materials such as low-ferrous, ball-bearing, full extension drawer slides and low-ferrous 5″ sealed ball-bearing casters, which gives the cart an American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) International designation of “MR-Conditional”. This MRI safe pediatric cart was created for safe use in strong magnetic fields and is tested and certified by an independent testing authority to a 3 Tesla level.
