Featuring a single outer door, the NC12C16-SK2 is specifically-designed so the top lock can be disengaged when a double lock cabinet is not needed – the bottom lock allows any key holder (either residents or staff) to access the contents within. Each lock is accompanied by two keys however master key options are also available upon request. Within every medium-sized cabinet is one adjustable and/or removeable shelf that can be affixed to five different locations inside. Engineered with a horizontal orientation and featuring dimensions of 12” H x 16” W x 8”D, this heavy duty double lock narcotics cabinet can easily be affixed to a wall in your facility using pre-drilled back holes and included mounting hardware. This cabinet is compliant with DEA guidelines for the secure storage of Schedule III, IV, and V controlled substances when a separate outer door is also used, such as inside a drawer or cabinet within a locked office or in a locked refrigerator/freezer within a locked office. Because this narcotics cabinet does not have both an inner and outer door, it is not recommended for the storage of Schedule I and II controlled substances unless additional criteria is met.
